Lula Mae “Babe” Leach died Nov. 8, 2003 in Gallup.
She was born May 5, 1925 in Bard.
Mrs. Leach was a member of the First united Methodist Church and member of DOES and Lioness.
Survivors include her husband Wallace Leach of Gallup; son Terry Leach of Albuquerque; daughter Jan Smith of Gallup; brothers Ben Gates of Hoodsport, Wash., Bill Gates of Anacortes, Wash., Bob Gates of San Jon; sister Leona Fay Mayfield of Tucumcari; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kiki Alonzao, Alan Cumiford, Joe McMillan, Harry Mendoza, Joe Myers and Scott Richards.
Arrangements by Rollie Mortuary of Gallup.
Memorials may be made to new Mexico Boys and Girls Ranch, P.O. Box 9 Belen, N.M. 87002.
Floyd “Sonny” Cast, 68, died Nov. 12, 2003 in Amarillo.
He was born Jan. 13, 1935 in Quay.
Mr. Cast was a rancher and for many years was in charge of the Quay County Fair Grounds and Exhibition Center.
Survivors include wife Barbara Cast of Tucumcari; two daughters, Teresa Hampton and husband Gayle of Tucumcari and Patty Lindsey and husband Ricky of Datil; grandsons, Drew Lindsey, Roy and Quay Hampton; granddaughter, Terah Persichitte and Saydee Lindsey; six great grandchildren; one sister, Merline Keller and husband Bill of Elephant Butte; sisters-in-law Inez Gunn of Logan and Freida Cast of Albuquerque; niece Lora Kay Jackson of Amarillo and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Services were Friday at the First Baptist Church in Tucumcari.
The Rev. Bob Miller officiated.
Burial followed in the family plot of the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Shane Jennings, Jerry Hight, Pablo Lopez, Johnny Cothern, Tomas Gonzalez, Broson Moore, Francis Wallis and Jim Watson.

Ignacio Sena, 74, died Nov. 8, 2003.
He was born Aug. 28, 1929 in Tucumcari.
Mr. Sena was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving the U.S. Airforce. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Broce Construction Company for many years. Mr. Sena was a building and code inspector for the City of Tucumcari before moving to Clovis where he inspected buildings for Clovis and the State of New Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Celina and sisters, Josefa and Ambrosia Sanchez.
Survivors include wife, Felice Sena; three sons, Ignacio Jr. and wife Pauline of Aurora, Colo. Anthony and wife Ana of Amarillo and Louis and wife Renee of Albuquerque, daughter, Cindy and husband Manuel of Tucumcari; 20 grandchildren including Lucas Lujan who cared for his grandfather during his illness; 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was Saturday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
A Mass of the Resurection was Thursday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church.
The Rev. Fr Leo Padget will officiate.
Burial followed in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
