Mae B. Taylor
Mae B. Taylor, 87, died in Dan Trigg Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004.
Mae Taylor was born Nov. 8, 1918 in Baker City, Ore.
She has been a resident of Tucumcari since 1961, moving to Tucumcari with her husband Richard. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She had been a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. “Dick” Taylor in 1982.
Mae Taylor is survived by two nieces and three nephews residing in Oregon and Washington.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted today, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Iola Allender of the First Presbyterian Church of Tucumcari officiating.

Bruce Dean Daniel
Bruce Dean Daniel, 37, died in Albuquerque on Tuesday, Jan. 6 2004.
Bruce Daniel was born October 8, 1966 in Clovis. He lived in Grady and later in San Jon and Tucumcari attending school in both San Jon and Tucumcari.
For the past several years he has made his home in Los Lunas and Albuquerque where he worked as a mechanic.
Bruce is survived by his mother Ruth Daniel of Tucumcari; two brothers, Wayne Daniel (Bonnie) of Rockport, Texas and Mark Daniel (Donna) of Logan. He is also survived by Teri De Lao and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father C.W. Daniel and his brother Kevin Black.
The body of Bruce Dean Daniel has been cremated.

Elizabeth Jewel Davis Branch
Elizabeth Jewel Davis Branch, 84, of Logan died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 in Rio Rancho after a short illness.
Branch was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Branch Sr.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Beth” Jewel Clark (Ray) of Logan; son George Franklin Branch, Jr. (Nancy) of Edgewater, Md.
She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great grand children.
Cremation has already taken place, but there will be a celebration of life for her Saturday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. at Logan United Methodist Church. Another celebration of life will take place on Aug. 2 in Wilmington, N.C.
Contributions may be made to the education fund at the Cottages of Albuquerque or to the church or charity of choice.
