Domitilia Allemand

Domitilia “Tillie” Allemand, 91, died in California on Saturday, April 10, 2004.
Tillie Allemand was born Nov. 30, 1912 at Los Lunas. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She had been making her home in California with her son Fred.
She is survived by her three sons; Charlie Allemand (Carmen) of Garita, Fred Allemand (Dorothy of La Mirada, Calif., Lynn Allemand (Lisa) of Clovis; sister Clara Garcia of Valarde and brother Alfonso Allemand of Dumas, Texas.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur E. Allemand and by her daughter Isabel Allemand in 1951.
Rosary will be recited on Thursday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church at 7 p.m. A mass of resurrection will be offered Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anne’s with Rev Fr. Leo Padget of St. Anne’s officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Garita Cemetery in Garita.

Matthew Robert Mericle

Matthew Robert Mericle, 10 months, died Friday April 9, 2004 following an extended illness.
Matthew Mericle was born May 16, 2003 in Lubbock Texas.
He is survived by his parents Christian and Krista Mericle of Tucumcari, his grandparents Curtis and Dena Mericle of Tucumcari; Willis and Sherry Boyd of Spearman, Texas; eight great grandparents; one great, great grandparent; two uncles and four aunts.
Services will be in the Dunn Memorial Chapel this afternoon at 2 p.m. with Pastor David England of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Mericle Family Cemetery.

Bobby G. Stone

Bobby G. Stone, 71, died Sunday, April 11, 2004 in Dumas, Texas.
Bobby Stone was born Sept. 29, 1932 in Wilburton, Okla. He married Evelyn Evans on Oct. 11, 1952 in Dumas. He joined the armed services in 1953 and served until 1955. Not long after his leaving the Armed Forces, He and his wife moved to Sunray, Texas where he has resided since 1956.
He worked at American Zinc and retired from Continental Carbon in 1994.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn; two daughters, Connie Jackson (Andy) of Logan, Vanetta Passmore (Dee) of Sayre, Okla.; three sisters Sue Cline (Bill) of Dumas, Frankie Evans (Jim) of Canyon, Texas, Mildred Bassham of Dumas; one brother Jimmy Stone of Sunray; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday afternoon at the Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray with Rev. Wayne Norrell of Christ the King Catholic Church in Sunray.
