New Mexico Arts, a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, will be holding a public input session Monday, May 3 from noon – 1:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.
According to representatives of New Mexico Arts, the purpose of the session is to gather public input about, “the needs of New Mexico citizens and communities in relation to the state arts division’s programs and services.
According to Anna Blythe of New Mexico Arts, NMA is beginning the process of developing a new strategic plan for 2006-2009.
“At this stage of the process, we want to hear from the citizens of New Mexico how New Mexico Arts can provide meaningful arts services to communities.”
The session will be co-sponsored by the Quay Council for Arts and Humanities.
