Rowena A. Daniels, 49, Satanta, Kan. Died Monday, July 12, 2004 at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan.
Rowena Daniels was born April 1, 1955 at Las Vegas, N.M..
She moved to Satanta as a child. She graduated from Satanta High School in 1973 and attended Hutchinson Community College. She was a rancher and farmer with her father for many years retiring in 1998.
She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Lattimore (Vernal) of Goodland, Kan.; her parents Harold and Irene Daniels of Logan and Wagon Mound; one brother, Troy Daniels (Lori) of Wagon Mound; two sisters, Gail Parker (Bob) of Thomas Okla. and Arlene Daniels of Wagon Mound.
Services were Sunday, July 18 in Sublette, Kan. and Monday in Wagon Mound.

James “J.O.” Davis
James, “J.O.” Davis, 83, of Amarillo, formerly of Tucumcari, died July 19, 2004.
J.O. Davis is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. Davis of Amarillo; one daughter, Virginia L. Lockwood of Melbourne, Fla.; one son, Jim Davis of Amarillo; two brothers, Bob Davis of Tucumcari and Homer Davis of Texas; one sister, Rosemary Bouffard of Texas.
He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Allen E. “Curley” Walters
Allen E. “Curley” Walters, 77, died at his residence in San Jon on Monday morning July 19, 2004 following an extended illness.
Curley Walters was born November 6, 1926 in Ringtown, Penn. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He has been making his home in San Jon with his wife of 59 years since moving from Hayward, Calif.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Jean Walters of the home; one daughter, Sandra Jean Eggert (Derrill) of San Jon.
He is also survived by four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body of Allen Walters has been taken to the Machado HIllside Chapel in Hayward California where there will be funeral services with burial in the Chapel of the Chimes Cemetery in Hayward.
