Kailiga Aguilera, 26, died in Albuquerque on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004.
Kailiga Aguilera was born Nov. 13, 1977 in Tucumcari. He attended the Tucumcari School System. At the time of his death, he was living in Albuquerque.
He is survived by his parents, Raymond and Georgia Aguilera of Tucumcari. He is also survived by four brothers Raymond Aguilera Jr., Tino Aguilera, Nelson Aguilera and Earl Aguilera.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A Mass of Resurrection will be offered on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Leo Padget officiating. Burial will follow at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
J.C. “Jake” White, 81, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004.
Jake White was born in Miami, Ariz. on July 19, 1923. He was the first son of Sid and Maggie Barnard White. He served in the U.S. Army Calvary during World War II in the Philippines. He lived in the Tucumcari area most of his adult life working as a farmer and general building contractor. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Irene Carpenter White and his second wife Helen Stratton. He was also preceded in death by his children Sandra, Jerry and Shirley White.
He is survived by two sons; Joe White (Doranna) and Jerald White (Paula) all of Tucumcari. Three brothers; Bob White (Stella), Jack White (Betty) all of Tucumcari, and Glen White (Lou) of Mosquero; one sister Nelda Seals (James) of Rome, Texas. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law Jo Juan White of Clovis.
In addition he is survived by nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, Friday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. with Fred Caton officiating. Dinner will follow. At his request he was cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Odyssey Health Care (Hospice) in Amarillo.
Casimiro “Casey” Andrada, 68, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.
Casey Andrada was born in Trementina Dec. 28, 1935 and grew up in Roy. He resided in Tucumcari for the past 53 years and retired from Mesalands Technical College.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Andrada of Albuquerque, three daughters Judy Lopez of Albuquerque and Gerry Rico of Albuquerque, Vicki Lucero of Tucumcari; one son Dale of Albuquerque; five brothers Tony Andrada, Steve Andrada, Lucio Andrada Jr., Johnny Andrada and Paul Andrada; Five sisters Alice, Frances, Joann, Betty Jean and Becky.
Services will be Friday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Spanish Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the family plot in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. At his wishes he was cremated.
