Therese A. Morris
Therese A. Morris, died of cancer at her home in Clovis October 16, 2004.
Therese Morris was born September 27, 1947 in Fremont, Ohio the seventh child of George and Anna Becker. Therese came to New Mexico in 1972 where she worked for Tucumcari Public Schools for several years before moving to Clovis in 1986. She worked for the Malloy-Ormon Insurance Agency until she began her 15 year career as bookkeeper at Clovis Insurance Center. Because of her computer knowledge, her position eventually evolved to include managing a wide area network of computers throughout New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Daniel Becker.
She is survived by her three children, John Kuzniar of Panama City, Fla. Kathryn Kuzniar of Albuquerque and Steven Morris of San Diego; four brothers, George Becker, Thomas Becker, Joseph Becker, and Francis Michael Becker; and four sisters, Andrea McMahon, Mary Becker, Bernadette Moya and Patricia Sparaco and three grandchildren;
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. today, October 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a celebration of her life at the Clovis Room of the Holiday Inn.
Virginia Goodson died Sept. 19, 2004 in Las Vegas Nev.
Virginia Goodson was born Aug. 26, 1915 in Des Moines, N.M. to M.G. and Laura Edmondson. She was married to Lawrence Wilkinson in 1932 until his death in 1971. They lived in the Des Moines area for many years until they moved to Logan in 1959 where they operated a Texaco gas station. She later was married to Claude Goodson until his death in 1989. She was an active member of the Baptist Church as well as other organizations in Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husbands, her two sisters, Eileen Johnson and Marian Pinson.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Christopher of Las Vegas, Nev. and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 24.
Merle A. Biddix
Merle A. Biddix, 57, passed away in the Trigg Memorial hospital on Tuesday evening Oct. 19, 2004.
Merle Biddix was born Sept. 5, 1947 in Canon City, Colo. He was a mechanic and tow truck driver for All-Rite Towing of Tucumcari.
He is survived by his mother Marie Neil Biddix of Cedar Ridge, Colo.; one brother, Don Clayton Biddix of Cedar Ridge; one sister Lorretta Biddix of Denver. He is also survived by Linda Unruh of Tucumcari.
Services were conducted Thursday afternoon at Dunn Memorial Chapel with pastor Wes Stewart of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Following the services the body was taken to Canon City for burial at the Canon City Memorial Cemetery.
Agnes Trampe, 92, of Logan, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Agnes Trampe was born on June 8, 1912, in Roy, to Morris and Mary Baker. She was a secretary for a hearing aid company in Defiance, Ohio, for many years. She moved back to Roy in 1981. She was a volunteer at the Roy Senior Center. Family members said she loved to crochet and made many afghans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Henry, Skid and Bill Baker; and two sisters, Marie Heiman and Lena Nolan.
She is survivored by a son, Richard Hammer (Carol) of Mosquero; a daughter, Lois Francis (Dale) of Logan; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services: Will be held at a later date.
