House sisters place well at Dexter

Lyndsy Lee and Sara Lee, House High School’s athletic sister duo, did well at the Demon relays at Dexter Friday.
Sara was the high-point individual with 24 points. She took first and qualified for state in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.76 seconds, and also qualified for state in the 300-meter hurdles with a winning time of 53.62 seconds.
Lyndsy was second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:08.53. She also finished third in the javelin throw and fourth in the long jump. The Lee sisters competed against individuals from 16 teams.
House’s Nathan Foust place second in the boys’ pole-vault event at Dexter, clearing the bar at nine feet, six inches.
