4/13 Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received by Tucumcari Police during the past several days.
According to the reports:
April 10
• About 9:30 p.m. a woman in the 600 block of South Sixth Street called in reference to “problems with a juvenile.” A juvenile male was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a household member.
• About 2:30 p.m. a man in the 1300 block of South Adams reported a breaking and entering of his residence. An officer advised two shotguns and other items were taken.
• About 5:30 a.m. a man was walking a dog near Love’s Travel Stop when the dog fell into an open manhole. An officer removed the dog from the hole minutes later.
• About midnight a man called from Love’s Travel Stop and reported a male subject with a stick beating a truck. The man advised that a fight was about to break out. A man was subsequently arrested and charged with assault and criminal damage to property.

April 8
• An employee of Comcast Cable called in reference to vandalism. An officer advised of a possible gunshot hole on one of the satellite dishes.
