Thursday — The Tucumcari Public Library, with the support of the Rotary Club, will host a magic show by Jamie O’Hara at the Elks Club, 2 p.m. The Elks Club is located at 2118 S. Adams St.
Saturday — The Tucumcari Historical Research Institute will have a field trip to Cimarron for its members. They will leave the Tucumcari Historical Museum at 8 a.m. or meet in Cimarron. For information, call 461-2773.
Monday — The New Mexico State Library rural bookmobile will arrive at Quay, 8:45 a.m. It will arrive at the McAlister Post Office at 9:50 a.m., the House Senior Citizens Center at 10:40 a.m. and at the Forrest Extension Club at 1 p.m.

Tuesday — The New Mexico State Library rural bookmobile will arrive at the San Jon Post Office at 11:30 a.m. It will arrive at the San Jon Senior Citizens Center at 12:30 p.m. and at the Logan Community Center at 2:15 p.m.

July 26 — The Tucumcari Planning Commission will meet at city hall, 5:15 p.m.
