Tuesday — The Tucumcari Planning Commission will meet at city hall at 5:15 p.m.
Tuesday — St. Anne’s 2005 Fiesta begins. Opening mass starts at 6 p.m. followed by an ice cream social and youth group skit on the school lawn.
July 27 — Commodities will be distributed to qualified recipients at 9 a.m. at the Old National Guard Armory, 900 E. Laughlin.
July 27 — New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission (ISC), Ute Reservoir Committee, and the Ute Lake Ranch (ULR) development are hosting a public meeting at 10 a.m. at the Logan Civic Center, 101 2nd St., for ULR developers to present plans and answer questions regarding the proposed development on the south shore of Ute Reservoir. July 29 — 70th anniversary celebration for Conchas Dam, Conchas Lake State Park, at Core of Engineers Park. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. with presentations, photography displays, 16 mm historical film of construction, and tours of the dam. Call 868-2221 for addtional information.

Aug. 20 — At Conchas Lake Park, Mary Whitmore, president of the Native Plant Society, will give a talk and take the group on a native plant walk and workshop. Meet at the vistor center from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Now through Aug. 10 — The Quay County ASAP Coalition wil be offering violin lessons to any interested youth between the ages of 10 and 18 every Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at 109 E. Main St. Must have your own violin. Call 461-4922 for more information.
