Jose Martinez
10 a.m. Monday at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari.
Jose Fernandez “Fernie” Martinez, 76, of Tucumcari, died Monday, July 18, 2005, in Lubbock.
He was born on March 18, 1929, in Sabinoso.
He was a ranch hand for the T-4 Cattle Company for many years. He was a member of Saint Anne’s Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George Martinez and Nieves Coca; two sisters, Juanita Pacheco and Lucy Lujan; and a grandson, Isaac Fernandez Martinez.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella Martinez of Tucumcari; four sons, George Martinez (and wife, Teresita), Robert Martinez, and Jose F. Martinez Jr., all of Tucumcari, and Lewis Martinez (Vivian) of Las Vegas, N.M.; a daughter, Lorinda Garcia (Andy) of Tucumcari; 11 grandchildren, Georgia and Anthony Lujan, Joe Edward Martinez, Apryl and John Preciado, Richard, Antonio, Alex, Jonathan, and Lewis Martinez Jr., Maria Andrew and LaZara Garcia; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary is scheduled at 7 p.m. Sunday at Saint Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari.
Father Leo Padget will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are Joe Edward, Richard Gabriel, Antonio Jose, and Jonathan Martinez, Andres Joseph Garcia, Anthony Tito Lujan, and John Joseph Preciado.
Honorary pallbearers are Georgia Anne Lujan, Apryl Louise Preciado, Alexander Renee Martinez, Maria Francesca Garcia, and LaZara Felize Garcia.
Burial will be at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.

Lola Jenkins
Have been held.
Lola Eva Jenkins, 76, of Amarillo, died Monday, July 18, 2005.
She was born on Aug. 14, 1928, in Arlington, Texas, to H.L. and Lola Martin. She graduated from high school in Quay County.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas C. Jenkins; three siblings, Russell, W.H., and Garland Chaddick.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy Jenkins of Titusville, Fla., Garrett Jenkins of Amarillo, and Richard Jenkins of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Scott, Kevin, Kristie, Joshua, Jason, and Jim; a great-grandchild, Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The Rev. Royce Elms officiated the services.
Burial was at Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tupelo Children’s Mission, P.O. Box 167, Tupelo, Miss. 38802.
Arrangements were by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

Richard Hull
Will be held at a later date.
Richard Ray Hull, 69, of Conchas Dam, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1935, in Chicago.
He was a retired plant manager for a corrugated paper company.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Hull of Conchas Dam; three daughters, Debbie Hawkins and Carol Hull, both of Tucumcari, and Jacqueline Seeley of Apache Junction, Ariz.; four sons, Ray Hull of Tucumcari, Richard Hull of Mesa, Ariz., Dennis Hull of Apache Junction, Ariz., and Chris Hull of Phoenix; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Tassi of Florida.
Cremation has taken place.
