Tucumcari police patrol

The Tucumcari Police Department will be conducting speed enforcement patrols Sunday through Aug. 14, as well as Aug. 21, 22, and 27-31 at all times of the day, according to Police Chief Larry Ham.
During these times, officers will be out enforcing DWI laws. The First Street construction zone will have a high concentration of enforcement for the workers’ safety, he said.
More saturation and DWI patrols will be out on Friday, Saturday and Aug. 19 and 20, officers said.
Police said they will be enforcing occupant safety and traffic laws today, Thursday, Aug. 15-18, 23-26.

N.M. Farmers’ Market Week
Dig into an entire week honoring New Mexico Farmers’ Markets starting Sunday through Aug. 13, as per a proclamation issued from the state’s Secretary of Agriculture Miley Gonzales.
A special celebration will be held at the railyard of the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market from 10 to 11 a.m.
