Who: Teresa Hartz
She’s a new family nurse practitioner and medical director at Logan Family Health Center. Transplanted from Tennessee, her kids and grandkids live in Alabama.
Claim to fame: This people person has worked with patients of all ages and families of all sizes in several states throughout the nation. She is enthused about her new challenge in a new land.
“I feel so fortunate to accept this position,” Hartz said. “(Predecessor Marty Rogers) has paved the way for the nurse practitioner to function at a high level with well-prepared staff members. Our clinic staff is friendly and devoted to excellent, confidential care for the entire family.”
Her passions: In addition to her job, Hartz said she enjoys sewing, reading, hiking, creative writing and hanging out with her two dogs — Donut and Dunkin — not to mention the state she’s in.
“New Mexico is so beautiful,” Hartz said. “The air is so clean, the sky goes on forever. Logan is my idea of wonderful. All the people I have met are so friendly. They have already gone out of their way to help me feel at home.”
