9/17 Police blotter

Tuesday

• At 7 a.m., a suspicious subject was reported on McGee. Police arrived to arrest a male for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• At 8:37 a.m., a female called to report a possible breaking and entering at an apartment complex. Police on the scene found a breaking and entering and criminal damage to property; the tenant of the apartment was out of town.
• At 10:49 a.m., an unknown female reported an unwanted subject at a truck stop. Police told the subject to move on.
• At 8:02 p.m., an unknown female reported a possible drunk on South Jackson. The subject was identified; all was reported OK.
• At 10:59 p.m., a call reported a possible drunk at a neighborhood lodge. The subject was brought into the police department and fingerprinted; the fingerprints did not match a wanted subject so they released the subject.

Wednesday

• At 12:09 a.m., a female called to report a possible drunk at a convenience store. Police told the subject to move on.
• At 8:04 a.m., an unknown female reported an unwanted subject on South Fourth. The subject was arrested on a municipal warrant.
• At 8:33 a.m., an unknown female called to report a possible domestic violence situation on East Smith. Police on the scene arrested a female for assault and battery on a household member.
• At 4:11 p.m., a report came in about an unwanted subject at a restaurant. Police arrived to find a subject who had been dropped off at a nearby motel from mental health services. Police found the subject had become confused and wandered about, then tried to book a room at the restaurant.
• At 6:20 p.m., a female called to report an unattended child in a back yard on Tenth Street. Police on the scene found no child.
• At 10:30 p.m., an unknown female called with a noise complaint at an apartment complex. Police arrived and told the subject to turn the music off or down.

Thursday

• At 12:17 a.m., a female called for a welfare check at an apartment complex. She said she heard knocking on her neighbor’s door and wanted to know if her neighbor and her kids were OK. Police confirmed they were and said they would do a special watch between 2 and 3 a.m. like they usually do.
• At 1:13 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Ninth Street. Police arrived to find the mosquito control truck with its flashers on and a flat tire.
• At 1:24 a.m., a female called to report suspicious noises on South Third, claiming someone was banging on her window and then on her door. Police on the scene found no subject.
• At 1:52 a.m., a battery was reported on East Hancock. Police found a male subject who had been beaten up trying to get into his home. The male was taken to the emergency room with pain in his arm.
• At 7:28 a.m., a male reported damage to property on East Smith. Police arrived to find a small rub mark on his vehicle.
