Saturday – The Eastern New Mexico Bluegrass and Old Tyme Music Association will have a bluegrass music program, at the Quay County Exhibit Center. Music begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Oct. 27 — The annual Breast Cancer Awareness luncheon with guest speaker will be held at Mesalands Community College, room A 121-123, from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is free to the public but space is limited and reservations are required. Call 461-4413, ext. 100.

Oct. 30 — Ollabelle Concert of contemporary rural American gospel, blues, bluegrass and country music at Tucumcari High School Auditorium begins at 3 p.m. The event is sponsored by Quay Council for Arts and Humanities and Dr. Dan C. Trigg Hospital. Tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance at the chamber; QCAH season tickets are good for this performance. For more information, call 461-1694.
Ongoing — The American Cancer Society needs volunteers to develop and implement Relay For Life in Quay County. The fund-raiser involves all members of the community, including those who have been touched by cancer and those who want to make a difference in the battle against cancer.
