12/10 Police blotter

The following is a sampling of calls received by the Tucumcari police during the past several days.
According to the reports:

Wednesday

At 9:30 a.m., a female reported vandalism on South Second. Police arrived to find her car had been spray painted and had a window busted out.

At 11:39 a.m., a female called to request a citizen’s assist at an area restaurant. Police on the scene found a female who said she was afraid her husband was going to show up and hurt her.

At 2:21 p.m., a female called to report trespassing at a local supermarket. Police arrived to find the subject had a no trespassing order for the location and told him to leave and not return.

At 3:35 p.m., an accident without injuries was reported on Third Street and Route 66. Police arrived to find the street department needed to come and sweep up.

At 4:15 p.m., a male called to report a theft on East Route 66. A report was filed.

At 4:52 p.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at a car repair shop. Police on the scene found the subject had left prior to their arrival.

At 11:29 p.m., an unknown female reported a car horn going off on South Monroe. Police arrived to find the horn was shut off.

Thursday

At 1:22 a.m., a male called to report a horn going off on South Jackson. Police on the scene said the horn was shut off.

At 7:27 a.m., a male called to report larceny on South Jackson. Police arrived to find 65 feet of Christmas lights had been ripped down and stolen.

At 8:27 a.m., an accident with no injuries was reported on South Second. Police on the scene said subjects exchanged information.

At 8:42 a.m., an unknown female called to report a light pole hit on South First Street. A report was filed.
