The following is a sampling of calls received by the Tucumcari police during the past several days.
According to the reports:
At 12:37 a.m., a fight was reported on South Seventh which resulted in the arrest of a male on a magistrate warrant.
At 10:03 a.m., a female called to report a domestic violence situation on South Third. The female said her daughter had hit her; the parties were separated.
At 12:05 p.m., a female came to the police department to report a dispute with her ex over who got custody of their small child for Christmas.
At 12:27 p.m., a female reported a theft at a local convenience store. Police on the scene were told a juvenile stole cigarettes but could not locate the subject.
At 1:55 p.m., an unknown male called to report loud music on South Fourth. Police arrived to tell the subject to turn it down.
At 3:26 p.m., a female reported a domestic violence situation on South 10th. Police on the scene found a verbal dispute and separated the parties.
At 4:32 p.m., a car stopped for speeding on Interstate 40 resulted in the arrest of a female for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
At 5:31 p.m., a female called to report a domestic violence situation on East Rankin. Police arrived to find a verbal dispute, with half of the parties involved already gone prior to their arrival.
At 6:15 p.m., a male reported an unwanted subject on South Second. Police on the scene found a civil dispute between a tenant and landlord.
At 11:42 p.m., a fight was reported on South Second which resulted in one subject being transported to the hospital and another arrested on a magistrate warrant.
At 1:10 a.m., a female called to report a drunk causing a disturbance on South Monroe. Police on the scene took the subject to his friend’s house for the night.
At 4:26 p.m., a male reported destruction of property on South Second. Police on the scene found a subject who was irate because his car wouldn’t start taking out his anger on the windows around him.
At 4:34 p.m., a female reported a lost child on Seventh. Police arrived to find a 2-year-old walking in the street and returned the toddler to the mother.
At 5:21 p.m., a female called to report cattle on the roadway.
At 10:08 p.m., an unknown female called to report vandalism on South Eighth. Police arrived to find the window of a vehicle had been smashed.
At 9:21 a.m., a burglary of a vehicle was reported on E. Route 66. Police on the scene found a weapon had been stolen from a car in an area parking lot.
