Annual writer’s seminar
The Amarillo chapter of the Inspirational Writers Alive annual seminar will be held on April 22. Registration is at 8 a.m. at Kingwood United Methodist Church, 4801 S. Austin in Amarillo, according to a release from the organization. A preview meet-the-speakers dinner will be held at the same location on April 21.

Livestock scholarships
The Northeastern New Mexico Livestock Association is offering $500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors or undergraduate university students who live in Quay, according to a release from the organization.

Junior golf tour registration
Registration for Sun Country’s 2006 Junior Tour will begin on Wednesday, according to a release from the Sun Country section of the PGA of America.
The release said membership is limited to 800 junior golfers and costs $30 plus $20 per tournament. For information, visit:
