Pointer of the week
How to pick a Putter? Many times I am sure that has come to mind and your thoughts were … length, grip type, arrows, dots, lines, heavy, light, color … or pick the one that the leading money winner on the tour is using.
All questions that I know have come up to everyone. I feel that before you think about a specific style of a putter, check out you basic fundamentals of a good putting stroke. Have your eyes over ball, one piece with arms and shoulders and smooth acceleration. Length and pace of stroke controls distance. (it’s 40 to 45 percent of your game).
Next week we will talk about styles of putters.

Feel the wind! That is what we felt Saturday during the Rattler golf team fund-raiser. The wind didn’t seem to bother the team of Larry Roybal, Sam Marshno, and Kenny Kingston. The three finished 20 under par in the three-person scramble. Albert Andradra, Steve Mills, and Gale Brown won the closest to hole team prize with a nice shot on No. 14.
Many thanks to all contributers.
