Moyers S. Shore

Col. Moyers S. Shore, 99, died April 5, 2006, at his home in Aurora, Colo.
Col. Shore was born June 19, 1906. He was a decorated World War II veteran, rancher and community leader.
Col. Shore was preceded in death by former wives Waunette and Mary and sons Moyers “Squee” and David.
He is survived by numerous relatives, including a son Sidney (wife Carol); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and cousin Mary Lane (Leonard) Goldsmith. A celebration of his life and a graveside service with full military honors is tentatively scheduled on his 100th birthday.
Arrangements are by Horan and McConaty Funeral Home of Aurora, Colo.

Carlene Ruth Sutton, 66, died Friday, April 7, 2006, in Clovis.
Mrs. Sutton was born Feb. 26, 1939, in Tucumcari.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by two daughters, Sharon (husband Keith) Fisher of Rio Rancho and Helen (Tommy) Gilmore of Tucumcari; two brothers, Roy C. Bogart of Dalhart, Texas, and Ace (Donna) Bogart of San Andres Calif.; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Following her wishes, Mrs. Sutton has been cremated.
