The following is a sample of calls received by the Tucumcari police during the last few days. According to reports

Wednesday
l At 12:56 a.m., a female reported a possible prowler walking around her house on South Monroe. Officers advised that they patrolled the area and all was secure.
l At 10:22 a.m., a female reported an unwanted subject in a blue van parked in her driveway. Officers advised the subject left prior to their arrival.
l At 5:04 a.m., a male reported a pit bull dog loose in the alley on South Jackson Street. Animal control advised the dog had left the area.
Thursday
l At 6:59 a.m., an alarm was reported at a local business on East Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers advised that they secured the building and that the alarm had been reset by owner.
l At 8:41 a.m., a male reported vandalism at a local restaurant on West Tucumcari Boulevard. Officers advised they were told someone had broken a window out during the night or early in the morning. A report was made.
l At 10 a.m., a female reported a burglary at her residence on East Center Street. Officers advised the owner told them someone went in through the window and out the back door. Detectives were contacted and an investigation is underway.
l At 12:52 p.m., a female reported someone broke into her car on East Harmon Street. Officers advised they were told that a computer had been taken from the vehicle. Detectives were called out and an investigation is underway.
