Services: 10 a.m. Monday at the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.

Stella Mae Creech, 90, died at her home in Tucumcari on Oct.

18, 2006 following and extended illness.

She was born April 7, 1916 in Chillicothe, Texas. She had been a
home maker.

Mrs. Creech was preceded in death by her husband, Robert
Creech, by her parents, by one sister and one brother, by two sons and by four great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son,Leonard (Lee) Creech of Canadian, Okla.; four daughters, Martha (Wayne) Clarke, Nell (Rusty) Brake of Tucumcari; Gladys (Louis) Teakell, Odessa, Texas, and Sue Lundeen of Mooringsport, La.; 20 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sister Vera Mae Webb of Denison, Texas., and her sister-in-law, Joyce Hibbon of Lubbock, Texas.

Bill Bowman of Clovis will offficiate services. Her grandchildren
will serve as honorary pall bearers.
Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.

David Ralph Duba
Services: A memorial service will be scheduled in Tucumcari.
David Ralph Duba, 61, of Tucumcari and formerly of Platte, S.D. died on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at the Baptist St. Anthony’s
Hospice in Amarillo, Texas, following an extended illness.

He was born Sept. 1, 1945 at Mitchell, S.D.to Ralph and Alice (DeBoer)Duba. He was raised in S o u t h Dakota and served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

He was a long-time resident of Tucumcari where he drove a truck for Yellow Freight and ran the Southwest Mercantile with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Nell Brunson Mitchell, and his brother-in-law, David W. Morrison.

He is survived by his wife Kathryn Mitchell Duba of Tucumcari; a son, Jason Duba of Durango, Colo.; a daughter Heather Duba and husband Kacee Bradley of Tucumcari; a sister, Dianne Duba Morrison of Merrillville, Ind.; a father-in-law R.H. Mitchell of Tucumcari; a niece Malissa Morrison Ayala of South Bend, Ind; and a nephew Michael D. Morrison of Crown Point, Ind.
