Lynnsey Joann Montgomery Hall, 30, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, after complications from child birth.
Mrs. Hall was born on Oct. 30, 1976, in Fort Sumner to Joe Bill and Charlotte Screws Montgomery.
Lynnsey married Aaron Hall on July 18, 2003, in Melrose.
She grew up on the family farm northwest of Melrose and was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Melrose. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1995. She received a Bachelors degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2000 and was working toward her masters degree at WTAMU. She taught school in West Texas A&M University and Tucumcari.
She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Lynnsey Charmaynn Myles Hall, both of Tucumcari; her parents; a brother, Blaynn Montgomery, a sister, D’Llaynn (Dean) Bruce, and a nephew, Jaryn Bruce, all of Melrose; two grandmothers, Ann Screws of St. Vrain and Bernice Montgomery of Melrose; an uncle, Doug (Karen) Screws of St. Vrain; an aunt, Jan Schumpert of Raton; five cousins, Kate Schiffelbein of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kary Schumpert, of Longmont, Colo., Kelly Schumpert of Garmish, Germany and Logan and Lucas Screws of St. Vrain; her father and mother-in-law, David and Shedra Hall of Tucumcari; a sister-in-law, Shannon (Rick) Arredendo of Clovis; and niece, J.J. Arredendo, of Clovis and a grandmother-in-law, Marie Sturdivant of Portales.
Fred Caton will officiate services.
Burial will follow at Melrose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Morris, Carlos Ruiz, Janna Solis, Randy Lesly, Nicole Bright-Lesly, Clay Beevers, Keith McAlister and Gordon Morris. Honorary pallbearers will be the Melrose Class of 1995 and all of her students.
In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to a scholarship fund for Lynnsey Charmaynn Myles Hall. Accounts are set up at American Heritage Bank in Melrose and Everyone’s Credit Union in Tucumcari.
