Services: A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at Our Lady of The Holy Rosary in North Hollywood, Calif. A memorial service will be announced for Tucumcari later.
Fabbie Janie Trujillo, 62, died at her home in North Hollywood, Calif., on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2007, after a prolonged illness.
She was born Feb. 8, 1944 at Anton Chico and attended both San Jon Elementary School and San Jon High School.
She and her family lived in Tucumcari, where she was employed at Denny’s Restaurant and at Trigg Memorial Hospital and was a member of Saint Anne’s Catholic Church, until 1973.
Mrs. Trujillo and her family relocated to Alta Dena, Calif., where she studied and became a licensed practical nurse. She was employed as an LPN for over 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Yolanda T. Burciaga (Humberto) of Clovis and Stephanie T. Lopez of Alta Dena, Calif.; five grandchildren, Carlos Trujillo, Manuel Lopez Jr., and Gabriel Lopez, all of Los Angeles and Humberto Burciaga, Jr., and Naomi Burciaga of Clovis; and two great-granddaughters of Phoenix, Ariz.
Also surviving are three brothers, Mike T. Apodaca of Las Vegas, N.M., Joe D. Apodaca of Albuquerque and Hilario Apodaca of Galesburg, Ill.; four sisters, Mary R. Baca (Herman) of Tucumcari, Tina Romero of Los Angeles, Calif., Flora Martinez (Fabian) of Hereford, Texas, and Rose Pacheco (Jose) of San Jon.
Mrs. Trujillo was preceded in death by her parents Dionicio and Agatha Apodaca of San Jon.
Arrangements are by Cremation Services of North Hollywood.
