Paul R. Lindsey, 65, a longtime resident of Logan, died suddenly on Thursday, April 12, 2007, at Trigg Memorial Hospital in Tucumcari, NM.
Mr. Lindsey was born Oct. 27, 1941 in Hale Center, Texas, but lived most of his life in Tucumcari. He graduated from Tucumcari High School. He was a retired from masonry work in the construction industry. Mr. Lindsey was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Surviving Mr. Lindsey are his wife Betty Lindsey of Logan and 10 children: four sons, Scott Lindsey of Logan , Brian Lindsey and Todd Lindsey both of Panhandle, Texas, and Mitchell Patterson of Albuquerque and six daughters, LeVonna Lindsey of Fort Worth, Texas, Pam Burris of Casper, Wyo., Donna Orha and Rhonda Schultz, both of Albuquerque, Rebecca Bond of Edgewood, N.M., and Jennifer Esposito of Richmond, Va. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and five great -grandchildren.
Also surviving are his brothers, Merle Lindsey of Alamargordo, N.M., Johnny and Norman Lindsey both of Tucumcari and his one sister, Eloise Allenberg of Tucumcari. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Abelina West, by his parents William and Myrtle Lindsey and by two brothers Arbin Lindsey and by William Lindsey, Jr.
Following his wishes, Mr. Lindsey was cremated.
