Alice C. Williams

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday graveside at Nevill’s Chapel Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Alice C. Williams, 90, died Saturday, July 7, 2007, at Titus Regional Medical Center.  

She was born Dec. 9, 1916 in French, N.M. A retired school secretary, Mrs. Williams lived most of her life in Tucumcari until moving to Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Lonnie) Smith of Mount Pleasant and a son, Kenneth Yohn of Sacramento, Calif.
Survivors also include: grandchildren, Christopher Smith of Tobyhanna, Penn., Steve Yohn of  McKinney, Texas, and Ed Yohn of Amarillo, Texas; great-grandchildren Hannah Yohn, Hope Yohn and Haley Yohn, all of McKinney, Chelsey Yohn and Justine Yohn and Malory Yohn, all of Amarillo, and Brianna Smith of Tobyhanna, and a brother, Robert VanDyne of Phoenix, Ariz. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Williams, parents,  John and Edith Graves VanDyne, three brothers and two sisters.

Clint Davis will preside at the services.

Arrangements are by Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
