Cowboy camp meeting set for July 21-22

The Mosquero Cowboy Camp Meeting, “It’s a God Thing!” will be on July 21-22. The country and gospel singing jamboree offers a free weekend of family fun, food, and entertainment. There will be chuck wagon meals, campfire music, cowboy games, wagon rides, ground or goat roping, horseshoe contests, prizes and games for all ages.

Campers are welcome, but there are no hook ups available. Outhouses are provided, but there is no electricity or running water, so come prepared to “cowboy up.” Campers are welcome to set up on Friday night. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided with a campfire atmosphere.

The schedule is as follows:
Events will be held at the Bell Ranch Camp on Mosquero Canyon Road. It’s also BYOC: Bring your own chair.

July 21
Events will include: Cowboy music and bull session can start anytime you arrive
2 p.m.: Games and singing
6 p.m.: Free chuck wagon meal
7 p.m: Cowboy Service
July 22
9 a.m.: Cowboy breakfast with live entertainment
11 a.m.: Cowboy Service
12:30 p.m. – Cowboy chuck wagon meal, and more live entertainment!
Directions to the event: Take Highway 39 to Mosquero, turn south on 3rd street. Travel three miles to the big tent.
