Robbie Lee Moss Goble, 87, of Flint, Mich., and formerly of Tucumcari and Calhoun, Ga., died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Avalon Hospice. Mrs. Goble and her family lived in Tucumcari from 1951 to 1957.
She was born in Gordon County on May 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Louis and Edna Taylor Moss. On Nov. 20, 1936, she married Pat H. Goble; they had been married for 70 years. She was a member of Flint Baptist Temple.
Survivors include her husband, Pat H. Goble of Flint; two sons and daughters-in-law, William Pat and Linda Goble of Howell, Mich., and James Randall and Patricia Goble of Swartz Creek, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Tracy (John) Henige of California, Tony (Lisa) Goble of Kentucky, Trisha (Brad) Isham of Davison, Mich., Deborah (Don) Lougheed of Swartz Creek, Roger (Susan) Goble of Brighton, Mich., Ron (Lisa) Goble of Plymouth, Mich., and Rodney (Amy) Goble of Pinckney, Mich.; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Hales of Dalton, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Mae Moss of Calhoun; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Francis, 16, in 1962; a daughter, Brenda Ann, 19, in 1963; a sister, Dimple Lackey; and a brother, George Moss.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Tucumcari’s Immanuel Baptist Church or Helping Hands Hospice.
