Museum to host trip to Zebra Ranch
The Tucumcari Historical Research Institute will have a field trip for its members to the Zebra Ranch between Roy and Wagon Mound on Friday Oct. 5. The group will leave the museum at 8 a.m. at 416 S. Adams. Bring a picnic lunch. Cars can make the trip. If you are not a member, you can join by paying your dues at the Museum of $10 per person or $20 per family.
Washington interns sought
U.S. Sen. Pete Domenici’s Washington D.C. office is accepting applications for its Spring 2008 internship program. Deadline to apply is Oct. 15.

NMRA set for Oct. 12-14
The 27th Annual New Mexico Rodeo Association (NMRA) State Finals Rodeo will be Oct. 12-14, at McGee Park in Farmington. The finals attract an estimated 200 of the best cowboy and cowgirl athletes from New Mexico and surrounding states.
