Denver Fisher

Services: At 10 a.m. Wednesday services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Logan, with burial following at 3 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe.

Denver Fisher, 86, of Logan died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at the V.A. Regional Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas.

Mr. Fisher was born Jan. 28, 1921 in Powellton, W.Va. He was a veteran of WW II and served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps in the European Theater. Following the war, he was employed at a tool and die shop as a machinist for 32 years. He retired in 1983 and moved his family to New Mexico. He was a life member of the VFW Post 2528, Tucumcari.

Surviving Mr. Fisher are his wife Leona Fisher of Logan, three children, Marie of Missouri, Peggy of Illinois and Donald of Logan, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Steve Kulback of Logan will officiate at the service.

Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
