Services: Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. on Monday followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the Bella Vista Church of Christ, Bentonville, Ark.
Clara Deane Rorabaugh Welker, 86, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007, at her home in Bella Vista.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1921 in Cordell, Okla. to Luther and Ollie Killough.
Following WWII, Leo and Clara Deane Rorabaugh moved to Tucumcari where they began Le Deane Photography Studio. Mrs. Rorabaugh was active in many aspects of the business including hand painting black and white portraits. She was a member of Rocky MPPA. Following Leo Rorabaugh’s retirement, they moved to Albuquerque, finally settling in Bella Vista. Clara Deane Rorabaugh and Warren Welker married Dec. 11, 1998. She was a member of the Bella Vista Church of Christ and worked as a volunteer for the church. She was a member of the B.V. Quilters Group. She shared her remaining years with Welker. Her avid love of nature was equaled only by her devotion to the Razorbacks, her family said.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Leo Edgar Rorabaugh in 1986; sister, Mildred Miller, and two nephews, Kelly Miller and Mal Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Welker of Bella Vista; two sons; Dan (Linda) Rorabaugh of Conroe, Texas, Jason Rorabaugh of Surprise, Ariz.; one daughter, Kim Frampton of Phoenix, Ariz.; two stepsons, Larry (Donna) Welker of Owasso, Okla, Jack (Linda) Welker of Tulsa, Okla.; one stepdaughter, Gretchen (Larry) Renne of Van Alstyne, Texas; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Randall Caselman will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Bella Vista Cemetery.
