Services: At 8:30 p.m.Thursday a rosary will be recited at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Tucumcari. At 2 p.m. Friday funeral services will be held at St. Anne’s.
Mary Elizabeth Sandoval, 26, of Las Cruces died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Thomason Hospital in El Paso, Texas.
She was born Feb. 6, 1981 in Tucumcari, the daughter of David and Vicky (Romero) Sandoval. She was reared in Tucumcari where she attended school. She participated in the high school drill team and graduated in 1998 from Tucumcari High School. Following graduation she attended cosmetology school. She was currently employed with Lujan Accounting in Las Cruces as an account assistant.
She is survived by her husband, Angel Hernandez, one daughter, Angel Sandoval, her parents, David and Vicky Sandoval, a sister, Davina (Manuel) Blea, four brothers, David Sandoval, Christopher Sandoval and girlfriend, Angie Romero, and Antonio Sandoval and Robert Sandoval, all of Tucumcari. She is also survived by a half brother, Jr. Sandoval, and two half sisters, Sonja (Richard) Trujillo and Vangie (Luis) Rodriguez and her husband, Luis, all from Las Cruces, and 21 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rosa Sandoval.
