The Mesalands Dinosaur Museum welcomed its 100,000 visitor on Nov. 3.
Attendance at the museum has grown to about 15,000 annually since it opened, said Craig Currell, museum director.
The 100,000 visitor was Matteo Wisthoff. Matteo was traveling with parents, Tammy Wisthoff and Jacob Vaughn, and his brothers and sisters.
The family was driving from California to their new home in Cleburne, Texas, when they made their lucky stop in Tucumcari.
Matteo received a $50 gift certificate to the museum gift shop and a certificate.
