11-24-2007: Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:

Monday
l At 7:25 p.m., an anonymous caller reported loud music on West Hancock Street. An officer checked the area and advised that no loud music could be heard.
l At 11:26 p.m., a female reported harassment at a residence on West Hancock Street. The female wanted to report a male subject who was harassing her.

Tuesday
l At 10:17 a.m., a female requested an officer at the probation office on East Main Street. One male subject was transported to the Quay County Detention Center for violation of probation.
• At 12:18 p.m., a female reported vandalism on South First Street. An officer advised that the back door of a vehicle had been scratched and painted.
• At 9:15 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute at a residence on South Rock Island Street. An officer advised that all was OK . One of the parties had left the residence for the night.

Wednesday
• At 11:23 a.m., a male reported a burglary at an apartment on West Hancock Street. An officer was told that a DVD player and TV had been taken from the residence.
• At 5:06 p.m., an alarm was reported at a state office on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that the building was secure.
Thursday
• At 10:11 a.m., an alarm was reported on East Aber Street. An officer checked the building and advised that all was OK.
• At 5:37 p.m., a male reported a burglary on East McGee. The male said the interior light of a vehicle, parked in front of a residence, was turned on by someone. The officer advised that it was unknown if anything was missing at this time.
• At 10: 30 p.m., a male reported suspicious subjects at a retail store on East Route 66. An officer checked the building and advised that all was OK.

Friday
• At 10:06 a.m., a male reported a burglary at a residence on South Adams Street. An officer was told that prescription pills had been taken from the residence.
