11-28-07: Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:

Saturday
l At 7:11 p.m., a female reported vandalism at an apartment on West Hancock Street. An officer advised that the window on the back door of an apartment had been broken.
l At 10:07 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on West Route 66. One male subject was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center for two outstanding warrants out of Oklahoma.
l At 11:23 p.m., a male reported a fight at a lounge on West Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK, the parties were separated.

Sunday
l At 12:32 a.m., a female reported harassment on East Center Street. An officer was told by the female that someone was calling her cell phone and harassing her.
l At 9:20 a.m., a male reported shoplifters at a retail store on West Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer was told that two juveniles had stolen some video games. The officer advised that six video games had been returned by the juveniles.
l At 9:54 a.m., an alarm was reported at a restaurant on West Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK and the building was secure.
l At 2:10 p.m., a female reported a domestic dispute on South Adams Street. One juvenile male was charged with criminal damage to property and breaking and entering. The juvenile was released to his aunt.
l At 6:35 p.m., a female reported an unwanted subject at a restaurant on South First Street. An officer advised that all was OK; the subject was waiting for a ride and would wait outside.
l At 9:20 p.m., a male reported a disturbance on South Jackson Street. An officer advised that they spoke with neighbors and no disturbance could be found.

Monday
l At 1:27 p.m., a male reported harassment on South Lake Street. An officer was told that a female subject had forced the male subject off the road causing minor damage to the vehicle.
l At 4:04 p.m., a female requested an officer at the juvenile probation office on Second Street. One female juvenile was arrested for violation of probation. The juvenile was released to her parents.
l At 9:55 p.m., an officer issued two citations on East McGee Street. One female was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
