A Logan man was arrested Monday at the Arrowhead RV Park in Logan on nine charges involving marijuana, Logan Police Chief Bob Gore said.
The arrest of Shane Vest, 53, was the result of several months of investigation by the Logan Police Department, Gore said.
Officers obtained a search warrant and confiscated six ounces of marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and two firearms at Vest’s residence in the RV park, Gore said.
Vest is charged with three felony counts of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, three misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and three misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana less then an ounce, Gore said.
If convicted of all charges, Vest could face up to nine years in jail, said Logan senior patrolman Wade Strand.
Vest is being held in the Quay County Detention Center on a $6,000 cash-only bond.
