Abby Marie Paris of Logan celebrated her first birthday on Feb. 7, 2008, at home with a Winnie the Pooh Party. Helping Abby celebrate were her parents, Rodney and Linnea Paris and her big brother Jantzen, all of Tucumcari. Her grandparents are Nathan and Becky Wallace of San Jon, Duel and Dianne Paris of Logan, and Bobby and Nancy Dugger of Logan. Her great-grandparents are Roberta Jones of Carlsbad, Jody and Patsy Clavel of Roy, Earline Paris of Logan, Mayme Clements of Tucumcari and Eddy and Betty Dugger of Amarillo.
Harley Ray’s on second …
Harley Ray McKinney turned two on Friday. She is the daughter of Chris McKinney and Crystal Dominguez of Tucumcari. Her grandparents are Berna and Pat Gutierrez of Logan, and Kenny and Liz McKinney of Tucumcari.

It’s lucky sevens for Andy …
Andy Cordova will be seven on Sunday. He is the son of Gary and Gina Cordova of Tucumcari. His grandparents are Louie and Mary Ann Molinas, and the late Lucy Cordova, all of Tucumcari. Andy enjoys his Karate classes and his Spiderman laptop.

Jenise is No. 1…
Jenise Geraldine Romero will be celebrating her first birthday today with her parents, friends and family. She is the daughter of Ignacio and Renee Romero of Tucumcari. Her grandparents are Alfred Baca and the late Geraldine Baca of Las Vegas, N.M., and Daniel Romero and Carla Lucero of Las Vegas. Her great-grandparents are Vincent and Mary Sandoval of Tucumcari, Eutimio Garcia and the late Stella Martinez of Moriarty, Rita Romero and the late Ignacio Romero of Las Vegas and Gabriella Jaramillo and the late Jose Lucero of Las Vegas.

Seeking senior opinions…
A public hearing seeking comments from seniors will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Tucumcari Senior Citizen’s Center, 523 S. Third St. Comments are being sought about services to senior citizens in Tucumcari, Logan and House. The information will be used to help prepare the 2008-2009 City of Tucumcari/Quay County Senior Programs budget proposal.
