The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department. According to reports:
l At 5:24 p.m., a male requested an officer to meet to him at the convenience store on Mountain Road because a TV had been stolen.
l At 7:25 p.m., a female called to report that her vehicle, on Interstate 40 west of town, was still running without the keys in the ignition.
l At 9:03 p.m., a female reported that there was loud music in an apartment on Sunset Avenue.
l At 10:13 p.m., a female called and reported that a male subject was yelling and arguing with a clerk and would not leave a store on East Route 66
l At 12:54 a.m., female requested an officer because a neighbor’s dog had been barking for the past hour on East Hancock Avenue.
l At 8:51 a.m., a male requested a dog be picked up from a carport on East Aber Avenue.
l At 11:29 a.m., a female called to report that dog keeps jumping in the backyard on South Fifth Street.
l At 11:42 a.m., a male called from a business on East Main Street to report that a male subject made a threat to a clerk on Main Street.
l At 2:40 p.m., a male requested an officer because of vandalism on South Monroe. The caller said some windows are broken.
l At 5:27 a.m., a male reported that there was some type of fire in the area of the southside of 540 Loop Road and Section Line Road.
l At 2:25 p.m., a male called from a residence on South Rock Island to report that he was being harassed by his neighbor.
l At 5:27 a.m., a male reported an unknown type of fire on the southside of 540 Loop Road and Section Line Road.
