A Tucumcari man, was arraigned in Quay County Magistrate Court on Tuesday, charged with four counts of felony forgery (fourth degree) and one count of felony fraud (fourth degree).
Christopher E. Murray, 31, of Tucumcari, was arrested on Nov. 26 and remains in the Quay County Detention Center with a $25,000 cash bond, according to Heather Calbert, QCDC’s administrative secretary.
Two check books from a local business, which the court documents or affidavit do not identify, were reported stolen on Nov. 22, according to the arrest affidavit.
Murray, was arrested by the Tucumcari Police Department after an investigation into $1,000 worth of forged checks from the business was cashed at two Tucumcari banks, according to the
