The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.
l At 12:02 a.m., a female reported hearing sounds and voices outside her house on south 10th Street. The female called back and reported her husband, who had been asked to leave, was trying to break in with a crowbar.
l At 10:50 a.m., a male came to the Tucumcari Police Department to report a lost or possibly stolen wallet.
l At 2:16 p.m., a female reported that a customer at a business on east Route 66 had lost her wallet.
l At 6:14 p.m., a female requested officers to come to her home at south 4th Street because people in her yard were harassing her son.
l At 6:24 p.m., a female at a business on west Route 66 requested an officer in reference to a subject in a white four-door car shooting the store window.
l At 9:53 p.m., a male caller requested an officer because an unwanted subject was sleeping by his house on east Aber Street.
l At 10:44 p.m., a male reported that someone had slashed the tires on his vehicle on south Fifth Street.
l At 11:32 p.m., a male reported that he saw a car hit his neighbor’s wall and drive off.
l At 5:13 p.m., a male at a business on south First Street requested an officer because someone had thrown a rock at the window.
l At 5:23 p.m., a female requested an officer to her residence on west Sunset Avenue because a male subject was trying to kick down the door.
l At 10:59 p.m., a male reported that someone had just thrown a brick through his window on south Sixth Street.
l At 5:59 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a male subject had rolled his vehicle before the bridge at Logan. The caller reported the male got out of his vehicle and appeared not to be injured.
l At 10:20 a.m., a male reported a valdalism incident on west Main Street. The caller said a 6 1/2 by 7 foot window had been shot with a ball bearing.
l At 4:29 p.m., a female reported that a suspicious subject was driving a gray car with a flat tire and was banging on her on door on Quay Road 63. A Quay Couty Sherrif’s Officer advised that a wrecker was called to pick up the subject’s vehicle and asked that the subject’s wife in Clayton be contacted.
