Mesalands Community College is being featured on national televsion today on CNBC news.
“We are doing some shows for CNBC, the financial division of NBC,” said Jack Davis, satellite operator for NBC News’s southwest bureau.
The impetus for the story began with plans by President Barack Obama’s administration to promote green energy, Davis said.
Reporter Janet Shamlian and a film crew climbed about 250 foot inside the turbine and then atop the turbine’s command center to talk with Tracy Rascoe, director of the wind technology program at Mesalands. The program is one of five in the nation.
The story on Mesalands is titled “Wind Energy Investment” and is a feature of the “Squawk on the Street.” on CNBC.com
