NMAA approves new alignment for sports classifications

The New Mexico Activities Association’s Board of Directors approved the Alignment and Classification for 2010-2011 through 2013-2014 at its June meeting on Wednesday.
For eight months the NMAA board of directors had been discussing the splitting of the state’s 1A schools into two classes 1A and 1B.
Starting in 2010 Logan, will compete in the district 3A with Melrose, Fort Sumner and Clovis Christian. San Jon and House will compete in district 3B with Grady and Eilda.
