07-01-09: Police Blotter

The following is a sample of calls received during the last few days by central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Saturday
l At 12:52 a.m., a male reported a fight at a fuel station on east Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that all was OK and there was no fight.
l At 3:46 a.m., a female reported vandalism of a vehicle on east Route 66. An officer was told that someone tried to get into the trunk of the vehicle using a pry bar.
l At 11:57 a.m., a male subject was arrested for driving with a suspended/revoked license. The male subject was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
l At 3:12 p.m., a male reported a domestic dispute at a residence on west Sunset Avenue. One male subject was arrested and taken to QCDC for assault and battery of a house hold member.
l At 8:42 p.m., a female reported a possible breaking and entering at a retail business on south First Street.

Sunday
l At 2:27 a.m., a fight was reported at a fuel station on south Mountain Road. An officer advised that all was OK.
l At 8:08 a.m., a male reported vandalism of a vehicle at a retail business on east Route 66. An officer advised that a tire had been slashed
l At 2:09 p.m., a female reported a theft at a residence on west Laguna Avenue.
l At 2:26 p.m., a female reported vandalism of a vehicle on east Rankin Avenue. An officer advised that the tries had been slashed.
l At 2:50 p.m., a male reported a burglary at a residence on south First Street.
l At 3:48 p.m., a domestic dispute was reported at a residence on north Seventh Street. One male subject was arrested and taken to QCDC.
l At 8:19 p.m., a male reported vandalism of a vehicle on south Rock Island Street. An officer advised that tires on the vehicle where slashed.
l At 11:07 p.m., a fight was reported at a residence on west Sunset Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

Monday
l At 9:14 a.m., a male reported vandalism of a vehicle on west Barnes Street. An officer was told that a window had been broken on a bus.
l At 11:32 a.m., a female reported harassment at a residence on south Second Street.
l At 12:13 p.m., a female was arrested for an outstanding magistrate warrant for possession of a controlled substance,
