Area lake reports:
Fishing for walleye was slow-to-fair using bottom bouncer/crawler rigs, crank baits, minnows and grubs. Fishing for smallmouth bass and largemouth bass was fair using tubes, senkos, creature baits and crank baits. A few bass were also taken on top water lures. Fishing at night was good using liver, cut bait and minnows for catfish. Fishing was fair using worms, grubs and poppers for bluegill. Fishing for white bass was slow to fair using crank baits, grubs and spoons.
UTE LAKE: Fishing was good using spoons and jig and grub combinations for white bass at 35 to 40 feet. Fishing was fair using drop shot rigs crank baits, tubes and top water lures for smallmouth bass. Fishing was good using minnows and worms for bluegill. Fishing was fair using cut bait, chicken liver and stink baits for catfish. We had no reports on other species.
