Storms cause power outages

Freedom New Mexico Monday’s storms caused various outages throughout Eastern New Mexico. Wes Reeves, a spokesman for Xcel Energy, said 4,000 Tucumcari customers lost power at 5:42 p.m., but nearly all of them had power back in 40 minutes.
