9-23 Police blotter

Following is a sampling of calls recently received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Friday

• At 5:18 a.m., an alarm was reported at a retail store on the 1900 block of East Route 66. An officer advised that all was OK.

• At 12:03 p.m., an anonymous caller reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1400 block of South Second Street. An officer advised that all was OK and that it was a verbal argument only.

• At 12:51 p.m., a woman reported a theft at a fuel station on the 100 block of West Tucumcari Boulevard. One man was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• At 5:32 p.m., a woman reported vandalism at a residence on the 800 block of East Hancock Avenue. An officer advised that a window had been broken on the residence.

• At 7:16 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a hotel on the 2900 block of East Tucumcari Boulevard. An officer advised that all was OK and the parties had been separated for the night.

• At 10:16 p.m., a woman reported a burglary at a residence on the 1700 block of South Second Street. One man was arrested and taken to QCDC.

Saturday

• At 7:08 a.m., a man reported vandalism at a residence on the 1600 block of South Second Street. An officer was told that the lock to the garage had been cut.

• At 12:16 p.m., a man reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 1900 block of South Jackson Street.

• At 8:25 p.m., a man reported the burglary of a vehicle on the 800 block of West Tucumcari Boulevard.

• At 11:07 p.m., an officer reported vandalism of a vehicle at an office on the 1500 block of West Route 66. The officer advised that two of the tires had been slashed.

Sunday

• At 12:48 a.m., a woman reported a suspicious man in the alley on the 500 block of East Main Street.

• At 2:08 a.m., an officer reported a fight on the 1800 block of South Sixth Street. One man was taken to QCDC.

• At 1:43 p.m., a man reported vandalism of a vehicle on the 2200 block of South Tenth Street.

• At 6:53 p.m., a woman reported phone harassment at a residence on the 1100 block of South Adams Street.

• At 9:23 p.m., a man reported an erratic driver on the 400 block of West Washington Avenue.

• At 9:36 a.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 400 block of South Eighth Street. Two men were taken to QCDC.

• At 3 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 54. One man was arrested for DWI and taken to QCDC.

• At 6:48 p.m., a man reported a suspicious subject lying on the sidewalk on South Fifth Street. One man was taken to QCDC.
