County commissioners approved to send the 2011 Appropriation Project request to the state during Monday’s meeting.
County Manager Richard Primrose said the request would be to either combined the city and county offices into one new building or to build an add-on to the existing building.
“This is just an application at this point,” Primrose said.
There was no timetable on when any other decisions would be made.
“I see no problem with combining the two offices,” County commissioner Bill Curry said.
