Quay County 4-H Shooting Sports program is hosting a 3D archery shoot as a fundraiser. The Fall Classic Shoot will be on Route 66 at Five Mile Park on Oct.16, 2010.
Registration opens at 9 a.m. Entry fees are $20 for adults, $10 for youth age 12 -17, $5 for kids 8-11 years old and free for kids under eight years old. There will be prizes for all classes including youth, bow hunter fingers and release, open, traditional and women. The course will be 40 targets with an opportunity for an extreme shoot.
There will be two novelty shoots. A long-distance shoot will have a prize of a 3D deer target and the first ever GPS shoot will include a scavenger hunt for the targets to shoot. Bring a GPS and try your hand at finding our hidden targets. There will be a lunch concession. All cards will be due at 3 p.m.
