Caitlyn Romero graduated with honors from Kansas State University’s college of agriculture May 14.
To graduate from the honors program in the college of agriculture, students must complete an honors project under the direction of a faculty adviser. Students must also complete 15 honors credit hours and prepare a portfolio. This semester, two students graduated from the honors program. This is a special accomplishment, as participation is completely voluntary and represents a student’s true commitment to learning more about their chosen discipline. Caitlyn was recognized with other honors graduates May 13 at the Kansas State University Alumni Center. Cailtlyn, a graduate in animal sciences and industry, earned summa cum laude honors, which requires a grade point average of 3.95 or higher.
